THIS PLACE WHERE WE ARE NOW

WAS ONCE A TENNIS COURT FOR THE MOYOS

In August, 1992 the late Mr. Airforce Moyo upon his recommitment to the lord decided that he and his family should give their tennis court to the church for the construction of a worship place. The decision was first revealed to Elder N. Kayuni who was at this time worshipping with thornpark main. The offer was embraced by the church with an approval to establish a worship branch at the moyo premises for members residing in villa elizabetha.

On the 28th of April 2003, a police permit to allow us to worship in this place was granted.

The establishment of the Villa branch at the Moyos was effected on the 5th of  June 1993, with Elder Kayuni as its first branch leader and later, its first company leader in September the same year assisted by elder  John Sikazwe. Pastor Chitebeta was our District Pastor then. The membership of the company at the time of organization was 31. The first Admin. Elder when Villa got organized into a church was  Elder Sibandi Mubita. He was assisted by Elders Moffat Dube and Stanely Kasiya.
